OGS : ATX Team by vforvengeance OGS : ATX Team by vforvengeance
Here we have the ATX team units-PTX-003C 'Alt-Eisen' and PTX-007-03C 'Weibritter'. At the beginning, I find that both Alt-Eisen and Weibritter designs are somewhat chubby compared to other units like the Wildwurger and Wildfalken. Therefore, I sort of change the designs to be more similiar to the Wildwurger-Wildfalkens'. Apparently, I took away some features from the Weibritter in order to minimise her weight since she's designated as a sniper unit and applied some urban camo paintworks to make her less visible. As what happened to her Oxtongue Rifle? Well, I decided to give her a wide range of arsenals which also meant to applied to other of my own OGS units.
Enjoy.

The Alt is kinda cool like this, but it's still more kickass when it's chubby. The Weissritter looks awesome, but the paint job should be lighter like the original version, cause Exellen is more of a sniper type. Great job anyways!

The Weissritter does look more like the Wildfalken with the new design. (BRING BACK THE CHUBBY LOOK!) But the Alteisen is sexy as ever. Y'know, I always wondered why Excellen doesn't make jokes about Kyosuke's piercing through.

You've got great mecha skills! Nice redesigns...are the ATX logos on the mechs hand done or are they a brush of some sort? I thought the camo on Alt was really weird lighting at first. Great job!

Hmmm.... Its an interesting redesign of the Alt and the Weiss... Thoug for some reason, the Alt just doesnt look as sweet as it did before... Maybe its just the face, or the fact that it looks like its been shoved into the Gundam universe... Then again, that would bee pretty freakin sweet to see the Alt taking on Zeon! But back to your artwork... I can see where you were going with the camo on the Weiss, but (an this is probably just me) I cant see that camo working too well for it... I mean, in the game it was meant for air fighting, and that camo looks more along the lines of marine/ city fighting. And then it would have to be around night time for it to conceal it, along with lots and lots of praying that the enemies dont have any sort of radar or anything... All in all thoug, those are some pretty nice looking re-designs!

For some reasons, I don't think the Weibritter is meant for aerial assaults and even if that's her purpose, I would have to turn her into a gunship or something like Macross VF series...
What more, if you look at Excellen's SP, she's more toward the sniper catergory with range extension capability. This Weibritter of mine is just a sniper by default with flight pack to perform hit-and-run tactics as well.

Hmmm.... It may be true that Excellen's focused more towards sniping, her mech is made more for evading enemy attacks, and sadly stealth was never a big part of that series... Though Ive just gotta say one thing. If the weiss only uses its flying abilities for a jump jet(per se';) type of flight, why dont you remove the wings? It would cut down on unnecessary weight, and be a smaller target for enemies.

Excellen to me is never good at evading and it's typical of snipers to be stationary at staying on target.
Maybe I should clip the wings off, then again I still want to keep the Weiss identity intact and so let's say the wings can be fold. Give her Raven equipments, then she's a gunship.

Yeah, you are right. Excellen could get hit by a parked car... Which is sorta a shame. I understand that you still want it to retain the Weiss looks, and I commend you for it. I still think its a really great piece of work that you did, and I hope I didnt offend you at all. Keep up all the sweet artwork!

I've like these, but at the same time I kinda not really do.

First off, the Alteisen and Weissy were based off of Gespents, who had slightly chubby designs, and those designs just added to their charm, now it seems though you've taken some of it away... BUT yes theres a BUT, I like the explanation that the Weissy IS a sniper unit that needs to be slightly slimmer, I mean, when you're white and trying to hit something at the same time your mech's kinda bulky, the enemy is most likely going to see you.

Overall I like the Weissy, but then I still like the original Alteisen, it just dosen't look the same anymore, BUT yes another BUT, I still like the re designs :D

these look way different the weibritter and ALT-EISEN feel more gundam like.

but i like this alt-eisen the one im used to see is a "in your face design" but the body and head of this is feels like a hardcore design.

tho teh leg make me wonder how fast it can run

To add onto what I wrote, it would be interesting to see your take on some of the grunt mecha of the SRW world. Stuff like the Gespensts, Huckebein MK.II MPs, Lions, Guarlions and such.

Good artwork here, nice clean lines, and good detail. The Weissritter looks good, though I think it would look better with the Oxtongue Rifle to emphasis it's role as a sniper unit, and as the original prototype for the Wild Falken. But all in all a good drawing, nice work, with emphasis on the ritter's strengths (quick movements, and strikes from afar, while dodging enemy counterfire).

Alteisen looks good, but I can't agree with the loss of the heavy armor, as heavy defense has always been one of the Alt's major strong points. The major idea behind it was a unit that has heavy defense, strong enough to shrug off enemy fire, and break through the front lines with strong solid weaponry. But then, i'm not sure how neutral I can be on the subject, as the Alt has been my favorite mecha for along time now.

Despite the crticisms, I said, this is good work, great job here.

Any chance of seeing the R-series?

Well, my Alteisen only looked slimmer and seriously, I don't think the Alteisen is all that super in the game...
Well, there will be no R-series but there will be the X-series...

Well me likeys the original design of Weiss + Alt actually XD! *Their chubbiness is cause they are modded from Gespensts which are ALSO chubby "D

Though nonetheless as a dumb fan for Alt <3 I'd fav it "D!!

Your Slimmer Alt Eisen reminds me of my Alt Esien Feuer. I actually prefer your Weiss since a chuby mech like weissritter doesn't suit to be an agile mech. anyway i really wait for your Wild Wurger & Falken

well... there is a reason for Alt and Weib to be chubby, they are basicly gespensts XD and gespies are chubby. Wurger and Falken, while tagged as ';PTX' models because of their concepts being based upon Alt and Weib, use as basis frame a Huckebein-like frame (design wize), lighter and much more versatile.

but I really liked these re-designs, particulary Weissy XD

I have mixed feeling about those :P

For one side I love the Gundam Fix Figuration/Katoki illustrations feel you gave to then, namely the blocky design and decals :)

Though I like chuby mechs, specially on the legs and always loved Gespents for their megaman legs and consequently, loved Alt and Weib for that too. While they look slick in their similarities to the Wild series, the similarity kinda kills the uniqueness the wilds had for being a "huckebein version" of the ATX team :P

But that is a lot of personal opinion too XD As whole it is very well made and nicely detailed =^.^=
